Everyone has their own personal beliefs about teaching, education, and what actually makes a good beneficial teacher. It is difficult to answer this topic in a few words. Personally, I believe that good teachers are made up of the following: knowledge of skills in all aspects of learning and child development, patience and a desire to see a change in the way the world perceives education. Not only that, but a teacher must know how to engage the mental cognitive, social/emotional, and physical needs of students. Finally, a teacher must be dedicated to his profession and know that whatever the result, at the end of the school year he has done his best to pass on his knowledge to the children. It takes a lot to be a teacher, and it is difficult, but I believe that those who are called to it can be extraordinary and exemplary people who can change a child's life. I knew that working with younger people was what I wanted to do, even though at the time I didn't know how. Teaching and working with children was a passion of mine, and now I'm going to school to make it my career. In conclusion, teachers are the foundation of all learning, and each, if applied well, has a beautiful gift. I personally believe that I am called to teach, love and nurture children, helping them understand and retain the necessary knowledge about life. Teaching, for me, is a lifelong dedication to school and to the betterment of the children who sit in the classrooms. I will dedicate my lifelong learning to educating and improving the lives of students..
