The Holocaust and the Armenian Genocide seem to be very similar in many ways when learning in English classes. I hope you see the similarities and differences. Some general information about the Holocaust is that over two million Jews were murdered and that it was a massacre. The Armenian Genocide was also closely linked to the same phenomenon. During the genocide, there were massacres and millions of people were also killed. With that being said let me start (The Holocaust) Hitler did a lot to gain power and the things he said worked so people who didn't want to face death decided they should listen. some type of group, for example the SS was part of the Nazis. They were more powerful than just Nazis. In the decade following his release from prison in which he had been imprisoned for treason, Hitler took advantage of the weakness of his rivals to improve his party's status and rise from obscurity to power. On January 20, 1933, he was appointed Chancellor of Germany. After the death of President Paul von Hindenburg in 1934, Hitler proclaimed himself "Führer", thus becoming the supreme leader of Germany (The History Place). Much of the things Hitler did had nothing to do with how the Armenian Genocide unfolded or occurred. Now the similarities between how the Armenian Genocide and the Holocaust are the same. Well, we know that one obvious reason is that they both called out a group of people, which resulted in the unnecessary killing of innocent people. In a way it's similar because at one point the Turks and the Nazis both used things to blame people or tragedies that happened in their countries, which can always trigger a revolt or a kind of revolution. Another thing that is middle of paper......or them but we don't think they are a threat because they are so old they might pass away very soon so we knew they are there -down. but were not looking for them (Genocide Museum). You should feel the same way about these two tragedies which are wrong in every form and both of which need to be punished for the crimes they committed. Another thing to end this article is that in studying genocide you notice that genocides have never been talked about as much as the holocaust and that should be changed because people need to know about genocides and what is happening there. Everyone knows the Holocaust was wrong, but people don't know as much as they should about genocides, so that's something that should change. The Armenian Genocide was like the Holocaust when it came to killing: it was mass murder in every way..
