Essay / Shaping the Career of William Shakespeare - 704
There is a story and a reason behind everything William Shakespeare wrote. His family, his lesser work, his early writings and his theater work helped shape his career. Everyone knows Shakespeare's many writings; however, few people know the steps he took to become a great, well-known writer that we still study, read, and recognize today. Researchers who wrote "The Life and Career of Shakespeare" discovered that the great Shakespeare was born around April 23, 1564. in Avon-upon-Stratford to Mary and John Shakespeare. He was the third child of Mary and John; He notably had two older sisters and three younger brothers. It is believed that during his early school years he attended Stratford Grammar School (Shakespeare's Last Will and Testament) and he also attended King's New School for more practice in reading, writing and the classics ( William Shakespeare Biography). Being the son of a bailiff and being a mayor had earned him free tuition for his education. At the age of eighteen in 1582, he married Anne Hathaway; In fact, their first child, Susanna, was born six months later. In the 1500s, it was not acceptable for women to have sex before marriage; therefore, referring to "Shakespeare's life and career", they rushed the marriage to preserve Hathaway's good reputation. Seven years after Susanna's birth, they had a pair of twins, Hamnet and Judith. After the birth of their twins, this period of Shakespeare's life is undocumented and is known as "the lost years". No one has been able to pinpoint exactly what happened in "The Lost Years," so researchers are left with suspicion with what little evidence they are able to identify. He is suddenly shown documented, seven years...... middle of paper...... ooling and previous writings or his work with the theater and his theater troupe, all his success could not have happened without all of these little steps to the top. Even today, we still enjoy Shakespeare's plays and poems. Works Cited “Globe Theater Built.” Globe Theater built. Np, and Web.
