Leadership styles vary from manager to manager, and many of the best leaders have their own style that they use to inspire others to do their best, in whatever role the company requires two. Directive leadership is a style of leadership in which the leader lets employees know precisely what is expected of them, gives them specific directions for performing tasks, plans work, sets performance standards and s ensures that people follow standard rules and regulations. The COO made employees aware of the company's objectives and expectations by publishing monthly newsletters highlighting these points. By keeping these goals in mind, employees are more willing to excel to help achieve these achievements for the company.
