By highlighting the main beliefs of Islam and criticizing these philosophies, Al Ghazali's main contribution to Islamic theology was to show the relationship between the power of God and human actions. the idea of occasionalism, however, held that there are two powers in human acts; the power of the gods and the power of humans. Al Ghazali considered humans and deeds to be creations of God, even though the manner in which humans perform God's deeds is reflected in human will. This highlights the supremacy of God by showing that humans are responsible for their own actions, thus conveying Islam as a living religious tradition for the lives of its followers. Al Ghazali, an important person in Islam, helped shape Islam to be what it is today - a living religious tradition for the lives of its followers. His contribution to Islam through his theories, knowledge and works left a positive impact on the Islamic world that continues to this day. An everlasting impact on faith, Muslims and the expansion of Islam to become one of the most popular religious traditions in the world today for the lives of its followers is considered the project of Al Ghazali.
