ERP Systems and the Hospitality Industry The push for technology requires a change in the way business is conducted in the hospitality industry. The success of this industry depends heavily on successfully managing the amount of information and timeliness. IS/IT provides the flexibility and efficiency needed by the hospitality industry to understand customer needs [1]. ERP systems emerged as a way to automate recurring processes and provide managers with real-time operations and problem-solving techniques for information disintegration and fragmentation [1]. Temporal integration is therefore a trivial question. Some authors confirm that if support processes applied this form of integration, it would not have a negative impact on any of the critical factors in the industry [13]. The second integration method, service-oriented, forms the interface between the cash management application and the ERP system implemented for the back office. The internal IS/IT team carried out the integration with the web services made available by the supplier of the target application. Real-time integration is done in this case. This does not cause negative impacts. This form of integration has proven to be effective, in the opinion of the authors [10] [14], who argue that Internet technologies are flexible and provide greater ease of implementation..
