As a pharmaceutical science major, I have to take courses like biology, chemistry, mathematics, and many other courses that require a lot of reading and writing. These courses require a lot of study so that you can understand the different topics that you have been taught in class. I am currently taking Biology 101 and it is becoming more and more of a challenge every day. I have to remember many terms and be able to understand what I read. Pharmaceutical science requires important skills such as writing, speaking, critical thinking, and active learning. Being in college is very different from high school. It's up to you to pay attention in class, because the teachers don't care as much as some high school teachers. When my teachers teach, I do my best to give them my full attention so that I take the time to understand what is happening.
