Essay / Personal Philosophy of a Christian Ministry - 1841
Philosophy of MinistryPhilosophy of Ministry: God's desires come first, I must always live my ministry God's way. I must live as a Christian (1 Corinthians 9:27). I must have a good surrender relationship with the Leader. In my personal life or in the Church, I must understand that Christ is the Head and Great Shepherd (Ephesians 1:22, Hebrews 13:20). “Management” of the Church concerns relationships with God and man, not just the maintenance of a social organization. Church meetings are for the worship and growth of the saved. Sunday fellowship is intended to give us the energy to reach out to the lost. The main elements of Sunday worship are the Lord's Supper, prayer and preaching. Singing and fellowship are important secondary elements of the Sunday service. However, these aspects easily become the main focus of the service. So I reduce them and it is easier to achieve a balance in the service. My preaching must be understandable even to the least educated Christian. Additionally, preaching must be soundly exegetical. I must never be afraid to preach the difficult things of the gospel. We should allow non-Christians to attend Sunday service, but do not seek them out for this service. However, I will be hosting some events for the lost. Because these events can help young Christians become familiar with evangelism. By hosting events for non-Christians, I can have the right doctrine taught before they come to Christ. I also expect the congregation to be trained in individual evangelism. Focus on teaching the simple doctrine of salvation. Wednesday services are perfect for caring for families, young people and their parents. I need to reach young people because it is difficult to evangelize once young people have been indoctrinated. Education...... middle of paper ...... ed is that a building is not strictly necessary, just Christians. And the End Times: First, the final judgment events should not be called the “End Times,” but rather the End Times. The End comes once, if I say End Times I sound like a Hindu who believes in an endless cycle of recreation and judgment. I have already assumed part of the role of Christ in the End Times. I mentioned how Jesus was coming back for real and obviously I really believe it. He will judge all men at the last day. Those who are in Christ share in and are judged by the righteousness of Christ. We will also share his reward. Hell will exist forever as Satan's holding place. Demons and those who choose him over Christ. But heaven is the throne of God's glory and the reward of the righteous. We will receive our resurrection body and all pain, whatever it may be, will disappear for those in Heaven..
