    After getting the initial base, Apple works on texturing and polishing the case using crystal and diamonds to cut the chamfers. Once the base is made, Apple uses robots and human labor to assemble the rest of the iPhone. Apple has around 10,000 robots that assemble the iPhone, with each robot capable of assembling 30,000 devices. As Apple is the largest company in the world by market capitalization, it is difficult to obtain a detailed account of Apple's production process, as its competitors are likely to imitate this process and/or even surpass it in a certain extent. Apple does not disclose its manufacturing process to the public for this reason, but it can be assumed that Apple has the most efficient production process because Apple's profit margin is around 40%. A profit margin of 40% is considered extremely efficient, as even its competitor Samsung can only maintain a profit margin of around 15%.
