Around the 1900s, European countries began offering comprehensive nationwide social benefits to the working class, made up of men . They offered worker benefits to incentivize citizens to join the workforce, which would provide a huge boost to the country's economy. However, America began to offer benefits to veterans and women, so much so that women received more benefits than men. This phenomenon directly contradicts an important TBS statement.
