When calamity struck on November 22, 1963, the country began searching for the invisible hand in the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The United States was in complete shock when it learned that Kennedy had been shot at Dealey Plaza. 70% of Americans believe Kennedy was assassinated as part of some sort of conspiracy. Few know the facts than they believe, but most simply believe, but most simply believe as an escape from reality that a small man like Lee Harvey Oswald could kill a man as big as John F. Kennedy. Although people believe that Lee Harvey was accompanied in the murder, the fact is that there is no evidence proving that Lee Harvey Oswald was part of a conspiracy. Many people miss the main factor as to why Lee Harvey Oswald worked alone and that factor is the man Lee Harvey was before the assassination. Oswald was a high school dropout who wanted people to believe that he was highly intellectual, even though the only person who believed he was truly gifted was himself (Swanson 61). Lee Harvey Oswald was the classic definition of a narcissist. Lee Harvey Oswald was not afraid to share his beliefs about communism (Swanson 54). Lee Harvey was an active member of the Fair Play Committee for Cuba, a large group created to spread propaganda about pro-Cuban beliefs (58). Many people are unaware of the training Lee was equipped with. Guidry 2w...... middle of paper...... the bone came from the parietal region of Kennedy's skull (2). The main point of Riley's argument was that the fragment consisted of groove patterns not found in the occipital region (2). Researcher Millicent Cranor asked Billy Harper to mark on the map the location where he found the fragment. When handed the map, Harper pointed to a spot to the left of Kennedy's car, completely debunking this conspiracy (3). Kennedy should show people that the conspirators themselves do not know the truth. If there was a conspiracy that turned out to be true, there would be no need to continue inventing more. Conspiracy theories about the assassination of John F. Kennedy do not present enough evidence to be considered fact..
