It seems that schools are not focusing enough on the concept of critical thinking in their curriculum. Critical thinking should indeed be a goal of education and constitute an important part of the school curriculum. Critical thinking is a crucial tool for students to survive and advance in the outside world after graduation. Once in the outside world, teachers will no longer spoon-feed answers; critical thinking is necessary for students to process and resolve the challenges and problems they themselves face. The concept of critical thinking cannot be defined in a way that can be universally accepted. There is no single definition that can represent the concept as a whole. Critical thinking as an idea has many contexts, and different individuals have different definitions of critical thinking. For the purposes of this article, we can follow some of the definitions provided by William Hare in his article “Critical Thinking as a Goal of Education”:1. Critical thinking is the rational, conscious, and deliberate evaluation of claims according to clearly identified standards of proof.2. Critical thinking is the appropriate use of reflective skepticism in the problem area under consideration. 3.
