As most say, experience is the best teacher. Those who teach are often described as good at what they do and receive their honors as a reward for the performance of their students. It is a fact that most teachers aim to learn rather than teach, even if their job is to teach. In other words, the crucial goal of teaching is to have a positive effect on learning. In a nutshell, we can infer that the best way to learn is simply through experience. This has been established by (Boud, Cohen and Walker 8) that experience and learning go hand in hand and are extremely inseparable. Kolb, the originator of experiential learning, argues that “learning is the process by which knowledge is created through the transformation of experience.” » (Kolb 38). Although this idea is not entirely acceptable to many of his critics who claim that Kolb limited the condition of learning to that of knowledge acquisition and experiential situations. (Barbe and Wilson 2000). It is worth stating that experience and learning have a close connection and that the two are almost entirely interchangeable due to their effect on behavior change. Learning in the world of work has certainly become vital for most organizations due to today's nature of customers, employers, employees and business atmosphere marked by both technological growth and competitive advantage . He put forward such an amount that some organizations that might take it for granted are losing ground by paying for it. These organizations usually either go bankrupt or suffer heavy losses in the market. It is suggested that organizations are indeed changing and that there is a need for active organizations that are able and willing to let...... middle of paper ... which is not possible in a classroom. Studying abroad is another good example. An individual can learn all they want about what a certain culture entails, but nothing beats going to another country and experiencing that culture for yourself. Experiential learning is extremely beneficial and, although there are many criticisms, it is essential to fully understanding a particular experience. As the famous Chinese proverb says: “Tell me and I will forget; show me and perhaps I will remember; involve me and I will understand. Getting the ball rolling on experiential learning proves to be extremely beneficial. The concept of this learning method proves to be very dynamic both in the learning and growth of employees and in their training. At a time when the world is subject to competition and innovation, experiential learning is essential and is an effort widely pursued in the future...
