    Television Producer Television producers play one of the most important and active roles within the industry; they play a role in every aspect of pre-production, production and post-production. A producer tends to be at the heart of any contemporary television show, but there are several different types of producers who sit at the threshold. In television, producers are very involved in a wide variety of programs, such as dramas, reality shows, game shows, documentaries, sitcoms, etc. As with most media roles, the ideal outcome for any producer is successful broadcasting. the initiators of all projects. Their role concerns questions of creativity, finance and practicality; they must supervise an entire production and creative team. Yet, certain positions are run by specific types of producers. For example, an "executive producer" will likely be in charge of finances, have input on the storyline, and ensure that all cast and crew are happy.
