    Many Hollywood hits contain recurring themes related to organizational behavior. Sometimes themes are hidden and unclear. However, after watching Invictus and The Invisible War, three main topics became clear. Each of these films presents the characteristics of motivation, stress and leadership in different ways. However, the message on these three topics is clear.BackgroundInvictus tells the true story of how Nelson Mandela joined forces with the captain of the South African rugby team, François Pienaar, to help unite their divided nation. South Africa has been a deeply divided nation throughout its history. The nation was racially divided and unstable. The Invisible War is a documentary that depicts the seemingly growing epidemic of sexual assault in the US military. Careers in the United States Armed Forces carry prestigious titles. However, there is a darker side to the armed forces that has only recently come to light.MotivationNelson Mandela became president of South Africa after being imprisoned for 27 years on Robben Island. Before his imprisonment, when he faced the death penalty for sabotage, Mandela's speech in court included the following: "I fought against white domination and I fought against black domination. I cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. This is an ideal that I hope to live for and achieve. But if necessary, it is an ideal for which I am ready to die. (Nelson Mandela Memory Center) Mandela's motivation throughout his life and this film were fundamental; live in a free society. The president's goal was clear in this film. In one of the first...... middle of paper ...... direction due to the perseverance of these women. Although each of these films has different origins and cultures, the themes of motivation, stress and leadership are evident in both.
