Evolution of Hip-Hop Since the beginning of hip-hop, a cycle of retaining what was represented and making it new has occurred. A lot of things that happen in different time periods are often directly related to hip-hop and a lot of people might not notice. Each generation of Hip-Hop has evolved into a new form of progression as it has now become a global culture. It has influenced things that define our culture: things like dance, fashion, politics, and even music in other genres. With this development, she has indeed changed the way the world perceives her. I intend to explain the evolution in its entirety, from its beginnings to the giant industry it has become. Through this development, a large number of efforts have been made. Messages addressing community issues such as crime, poverty, drugs and unemployment were given by the rappers. Often, these messages were relayed by people in these situations who were openly angry at the police, government, big business, and other forms of white power seen by the community. In response, many people attacked rap music because they associated much of the violence that occurred during that era with it. Often, violence, racism, explicit sexuality, and misogynistic topics are incorporated into the lyrics. In 1986, Tipper Gore of the Parents' Music Resource Center accused Run-DMC's music of being responsible for corrupting violence at several of their stops on their summer tour. Currently, hip-hop has globalized into a multitude of companies. Hip-hop can be discovered all over the world, particularly in the South. Hip hop has grown internationally as an art development and progression through the employments of innovation and speech. The music will continue to prevail, as hip-hop is an integral part of its culture. Hip-hop music has reached cultural corridors around the world and has been absorbed and reinvented around the world as many people incorporate it into their own lifestyle. Hip-Hop has indeed contributed more to the culture of our time and will remain considerably in history.
