Its transfer rate is at least 200 kilobytes per second for information transfer. It is faster than the previous generation which did not support more than 200 kilobytes per second. 3G could find application in wireless voice telephony, mobile Internet access, fixed wireless Internet access, video calls and mobile television. 3G introduces a whole collection of technologies enabling higher data transfer speed than the previous version. CDMA and GSM were the main category of telephone technology. The 3G network is formed by these two different technologies that have been developed. The 3G smartphone can achieve high-speed data transfer rate by accessing 3G cell phone technology and its average browsing, streaming and downloading speed is extremely high. 3G also allows the phone to use video calls, watch TV and surf the Internet without manually connecting to the Internet and without the need to stay on the nearby wireless network. 3G technology is more functional and has been surpassed by 2G in all aspects and most places. The user will find that the 3G network is faster and goes further than 2G. The technology application where 3G can be used when a certain area has a base station to provide a signal or connection to devices. The closer the 3G connection is, the better the connection will be and if it goes further away, the 3G network will drop and can cause interruption of...... middle of paper ...... magnetic wave radiation is dangerous for our life. Prolonged use can affect our brain. The power consumption of 3G technology is higher than that of 2G. Therefore, devices using 3G will consume more power and need to recharge within a certain amount of time. Conclusion 3G-enabled smartphones offer the convenient services, great features, and fast speeds that users expect from a premium phone. In addition, they give their owners the chance to be at the forefront of current communications innovations. As 3G networks expand across the country and around the world, buyers will be glad they decided to invest in this useful and enjoyable modern technology.Referenceshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3G http://wiki.
