    Women were still expected to stay at home and take care of daily chores. Compared to men, women were not treated the same. Women were treated as property towards men. Everything a woman had, a man had. I will discuss what has changed from the beginning of women's rights to today. I will also talk about specific periods and what happened during those periods. An example of a major contributor to women's rights would be Susan B. Anthony. She was an American women's civil rights leader in the 19th century. A more specific time period would be around the 1800s or later. She was also involved in women's suffrage. Susan also had an impact on these women. Susan was a leader rather than a follower, and although she was not the most well-known women's rights leader or activist, she still tried to make a contribution to her community. She was committed to women without rights and had the quality of a leader. Another thing she tried to do was give. She tried to give freedom without anything in return and never lowered her expectations from anyone. I think all she was asking for was a chance to prove that trust was the right answer. I also think she supported them just as much as they supported her. From 1 BC and before, I can definitely say that many girls and/or women married at a young age. A majority of women are already married between the ages of twelve and fourteen. Basically, these were arranged marriages. Even if this is the case, they had arranged their marriages so that they married their own social class. I don't think the people in charge wanted the different classes to compete.
