Martin Luther King is recognized by millions as a great leader and he is an inspiring man in our history. Even today, Martin Luther King is one of society's most influential heroes. He helped African Americans gain their rights and freedoms. Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the most inspiring leaders in our nation's history. Sometimes a death threat over the phone limited his strength, but it encouraged his dreams of ending segregation. He had courage and was determined to dedicate his life to securing equal rights for black people through peaceful marches.
