Each person is born with their own identity and individuality. Identity with its own personality that distinguishes this person from other individuals. Individuality is having your own autonomy. Autonomy referring to their own self-government. Each person has their own decision-making autonomy. People have the freedom to do what they want, but the law imposes certain restrictions. To have freedom is to have the ability to freely do and say whatever one wants without being criticized or embarrassed. Professionals such as doctors, lawyers, psychiatrists, etc. deal with situations that they must analyze and think about the right decision to make. When clients visit a professional for help or for other situations, it is assumed that there will be confidentiality between the two people. The professional and the client undertake to keep everything confidential between them. Is confidentiality between professionals and clients really possible? Professionals must have everything confidential between clients. Provided you do not cause harm to a third party. Harm referring to causing a negative aspect to a person. Confidentiality must always be confidential: we give information by trusting the professional with information that must concern both. Unless third parties suffer harm. Ensuring confidentiality can be difficult due to the fact that anyone can have access to personal information that others may not know. The professional must seek help for the patient or client when he or she notices that the patient wants to harm himself or someone else. Professionals are there to help the patient, but also to protect their confidentiality. There must be true confidentiality between the patient and the professional.
