With new advances in medical science, the ability to transplant an organ has become widely available to those who need it. Unfortunately, thousands of people die every year, even if there is a way to save them. These people are forced to wait on a waiting list containing nearly 80,000 other names to find a donor. But thousands of people are ready to sell their organs; they seem to be a perfect match for each other. If the government gave people the right to purchase the organs they vitally need to prolong their lives, thousands of people could end their pain and suffering. The government should take action to save lives, not take them. Today, more than 80,000 people are patiently waiting on a list to receive an organ. Only 20,000 organs are donated each year, leaving 60,000 people with nothing. Thousands of people are sitting in hospital beds and death is inevitable. If it were legal to sell organs, the next day the quantity of organs available would skyrocket, saving many lives. Additionally, when people die, more people donate their organs to improve the lives of their families. To govern it...
