    The integrity of past and present members is also called into question. Stand firm and unite as citizens and boycott the Boy Scouts. Failure to do otherwise shows weakness while endorsing the acceptance of gays into the Boy Scouts. Of course, don't be fooled and become the next Boy Scout puppet. Citizens must also be held accountable. Every citizen has an interest in all social groups that receive monetary funds or tax benefits from the city, state, or federal government. Although the Boy Scouts are a private organization and do not receive any financial funding. They receive tax benefits on specific items by not paying sales tax. Additionally, the actions of any organization requiring state and federal intervention involve citizens. State and federal workers are paid by American taxpayers, so everyone has a responsibility. Are the Boy Scouts really responsible? No! They have been a part of this country for over 100 years and have developed a creed that supports the Declaration of Independence. They represent Americans and the law written over 200 years ago that continues to make this country great. More so, they are empowered to teach values, responsibilities and instill unmistakable morals in the life of a young boy. The Boy Scouts organization has shaped great leaders of this country. Boy Scouts are ambassadors. Allowing gays to join their organization is a failure. Moreover, they themselves are victims. This change in banning homosexuals brings additional shame and scrutiny to the organization. Senior leaders are using this ban on homosexuals to obscure the attention of troop leaders. Additionally, troop leaders and the organization must be accountable and accept blame for their lack of judgment. Without a doubt, failure to accept blame will end the existence of this dysfunctional organization.
