    1. INTRODUCTIONAdani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited is a private multiport operator and part of the Adani Group. It was previously known as Mundra Port & Special Economic Zone Limited. APSEZ is a special port economic zone that markets multiple products. The SEZ is located in Mundra town in Kutch district of Gujarat. The company has been in the spotlight since its inception due to various issues; which include lack of permits, various environmental problems, delays as well as enormous economic growth. 18,000 ha are identified as the Mundra SEZ, of which 8,481.2784 ha constitute the notified area of ​​the SEZ. The characteristics of the site are as follows. There are 14 villages near the project site. The nearest town is Mundra; with the nearest railway station, 50 km away at Gandhidham. The population mainly depends on drilled wells and dug wells for their water. All surrounding villages are electrified and there are no industrial users of electricity.
