Horses have been appreciated by humans for a million years. Humans began to domesticate horses because of their ability to modulate with their environment. Horses' anatomy allows them to use their speed to escape predators. They have a well-developed sense of balance and a strong fight or flight instinct. Most domestic horses begin training under the saddle or in harness between the ages of two and four. The average lifespan of horses is approximately 25 to 30 years. Horse breeds are based on general temperament. Fiery speed and endurance. Horses and humans mingle in a wide variety of professional activities such as police work, agriculture, entertainment and therapy. Horses were historically used in warfare, resulting in a wide variety of horsemanship. Many products are derived from horses, including meat, skin and hair. Humans provide food and water for domestic horses. and shelter. Horses are valued by humans in many ways and in many forms of media such as Disney and the Tale of Sprit, hippotherapy, a form of rehabilitation therapy, and the Tale of the Trojan Horse. .Disney has made movies about horses like Sprit. He is a mustang stallion who grows up to proudly succeed his father as leader of the Cimarron herd in the Wild West. When they reach Dakota Territory, Sprit becomes curious and a cowboy catches him and sells him to the US Cavalry. The cavalry uses a method of training by breaking a horse. This method fails with sprit. Spirit is captured by a brave man and escapes on his back. He also tricks him into a coral with his beloved mare, but shows respect and gains some trust. When the railroad arrives, the Indian village is destroyed and Spirit is captured for use as a draft horse. When the stallion...... middle of paper...... and occasionally, horses are trained to perform without a bridle or other headgear. Many horses are also driven, which requires a harness, bridle, and some type of vehicle. Horses have been appreciated by man in the past and will be appreciated in the future in all its aspects.
