Essay / Funny Language in To Kill A Mockingbird - 1333
The author describes how Dill views Scout as his property and his promise to love her, then neglect her (Lee 55). The way he describes is fun and somewhat real. It shows the angry nature of a child and reflects something we have all thought about, making it associative and evocative. There is also comedy when she beats Dill - a girl who beats her older lover because her lover likes to play with her brother. It acts as a comedy scene but at the same time it is a real scene.
