Essay / Disney's new movie Frozen - 1102
Disney's new movie "Frozen" attracted the attention of viewers and surprised us all, reaching number 1 at the box office and having surpassed $300 million in tickets sold, this film has no signs of slowing down any time soon. “Frozen” is one of the few recent Disney films to capture the classic Disney storyline, like “Cinderella” or “Snow White,” it is a heartwarming and loving story, guaranteed to thaw a frozen heart. Unlike the usual Disney princess story where the girl has a poor life or things just don't go as planned, they wish on a star, fall in love, and then bibbidi-bobbdi-boo, they live a happily ever after . Frozen strayed from tradition and decided to take a more different approach. True love has always been a key concept in Disney films. Sleeping Beauty, true love's kiss broke the spell, Beauty and the Beast, true love broke the curse, Snow White, once again true love broke the spell, it's the same concept, but in Frozen it added a twist and showed the love between sisters Elsa and Anna. It adds a touch of tradition, so one of the reasons older viewers and even critics can enjoy it is something new and different. The movie “Frozen” is based on “The Snow Queen,” a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. The story is about an evil troll, also known as "the devil", who makes a mirror that, when looked at, distorts the beauty and goodness of people and things to the contrary, ugly and evil . One day the troll and his friends try to take the mirror to heaven to make the angels and God look like fools, but when they were almost there, the mirror falls and shatters into small pieces almost into dust. This “dust” travels across the world and gets into people’s eyes and hearts, freezing them. Years later, a girl... middle of paper... doesn't matter. This movie became popular because it was new, it was different and it showed that throughout the movie. There was always the key factor that all Disney movies had songs and a happy ending. In the usual Disney concept, there is a princess or a poor girl who gets into a situation and ends up in the hands of a prince, and then they live happily ever after, but in this case, Anna and Kristoff end up being together, but it's the other. Conversely, Anna is royalty and Kristoff is poor. Additionally, the main ending didn't try to tell the love story between Kristoff and Anna; it was the love and bond that Anna and Elsa share as sisters. So it's a Disney movie, it's just different, there are twists and turns and differences from the usual movie, but that's what makes it so unique, and that's why it's so popular because it's unique and different, something we needed from Disney..
