They have developed a program that helps schools deal with cyberbullying. This program could perhaps be the only way to eliminate cyberbullying in the future, which is why it should receive a lot of attention and be taken very seriously. They keep their programs updated so they know how to reach teens on a personal level, hoping to make them aware of the seriousness of the problem (Vaughn). A new law was also passed in Pennsylvania making cyberbullying a punishable offense. “Cyberbullying a child is now a third-degree misdemeanor, punishable by a maximum fine of $2,500 and/or up to one year in prison” (Cohren). Making it a crime will help reduce it, even if it's just a crime.
