    Illegal immigration has been a problem in the United States for a long time. The government has attempted to use different methods to eliminate or reduce illegal immigrants. From deportation and increased border security, to enforcing laws punishing employers who recruit illegal immigrants, to granting temporary work permits, and then legalizing immigrants illegal by amnesty, these attempts have all failed. Today, many questions arise as to whether this problem of illegal immigration can ever be solved. Before answering this question, perhaps another question arises: why should we even care about stopping illegal immigration? To those who are rational, and most Americans are, they would consider this a stupid question. Illegal immigration must be stopped because it is illegal. This is a common sense answer that most Americans would agree with. Yes, it's true that illegal immigrants are illegal, that's why we give them that name. However, aside from being illegal, they also harm American society. Studies show that illegal immigrants pose a heavy financial burden on taxpayers. Not only are they expensive, but they can also be dangerous to our lives. From disease transmission to criminal activity, statistics show that an overwhelming number of illegal immigrants carry deadly diseases and/or have serious criminal histories. After understanding the negative impacts that illegal immigration can have on the United States, appropriate measures must be taken to address such impacts. issue. The world is not perfect.
