It is the second largest religion in the world and it continues to grow. More than 20,000 Americans convert to Islam each year. It clearly describes, from the basics to the most complex issues, that other religions fail to justify. Followers of other religions consider Islam to be a strict religion, but in reality this is not the case. It only forbids people from evil acts such as lying, misbehavior, theft and murder, etc. which put our lives in danger. Killing anyone, even an animal, is strictly forbidden in Islam. The right to life is the most important thing in Islam. As a verse of the Holy Quran says: “Whoever kills a human being (without any reason such as) slaughter or corruption on earth, it is as if he had killed all humanity. (5:32)” Another verse states that “Do not kill a soul whom Allah has made sacred except by due process of law. (6:151)” Regarding this, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) once said: “The greatest sins are associating something with God and killing human beings. » (ʻAla Maudoodi, 1976) It teaches us to perform good deeds, for example helping and respecting others, injustice and fraud, etc. There is a very long list of things that Islam forbids and teaches people to do.
