This reform was put in place to provide Many Americans have health insurance coverage, it also provides protection. to consumers and gives them more options to purchase health insurance from different providers. The health care system is composed of private and public services, the private system is personal care service from different sources and includes for-profit and non-profit agencies, while the public health care system is population-oriented and includes federal, state, and local governments. The purpose of this article is to discuss the implementation of health care reform, examine the state of the system in my state, the positive and negative results of health care reform, its impact on the community and its effects on the economy of the state of Ohio (Nies &McEwen, 2015).Health care reform or the Affordable Care Act in Ohio is also known as health care expansion. Medicaid. Implemented during the Kasich administration, it helped 650,000 people whose uncovered health care costs were shifted onto the shoulders of employers and individuals who struggled to pay their already high health insurance costs. In conclusion, the implementation of health care reform has benefited more Americans and Ohioans in particular. as more people, especially low- and middle-income people, can obtain insurance through the expansion of the ACA and Medicaid. Those with a pre-existing condition can purchase insurance at an affordable cost, although this affects younger Americans who might purchase at a lower rate as their premium increases and state and federal spending increases. for Medicaid expansion are increased. Nevertheless, the ACA has been very effective in providing more Americans with coverage and a secure life through its preventive policy and Medicaid expansion.
