    The IMF and its role in the international political economyPolitical economy is not a new word for us because of the close relationship between politics and economy. The evolution of politics is due to the evolution of society, and the development of society is mainly driven by economics. The parallel existence and mutual interaction of "state" and "market" in the modern world creates a "political economy"; Without the state and the market, there could be no political economy (Gilpin, 2003, P9). The market allocates resources to a particular group, class, or region where conditions are most favorable. As a result, market economies lead to uneven development both nationally and internationally. As our problem concerns international political economy, the connection is that the uneven development of different economic systems of nations leads to the unequal status of countries across the world. The struggle between groups and states over the distribution of benefits and costs has become a major feature of international relations in the modern world (Gilpin, 2003, P21, para. 2). It is certain that the market or the economy have a great influence on sovereign states. Market developments are very likely to change state. The economy is therefore crucial for a country, in a globalized world with numerous interactivities between countries, to find its place. In the context of globalization, the globalization of finance, arguing that it has fundamentally altered traditional monetary relations between states and markets, ultimately undermines national monetary sovereignty (Cohen, 2003, P215).
