How does global warming affect us?IntroductionThe earth is currently warming. Climate change will bring us sea level rise, droughts, floods, desertification, etc. In short, the earth will become unlivable. Global warming means an increase in sea and land surface temperatures since the late 19th century. We must be aware of the danger and how to prevent this phenomenon. There are therefore causes for global warming. Global warming is not triggered by itself, but by human interaction with this problem. Cause The earth can stay hot because of the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is a natural process that helps warm the Earth's surface and atmosphere. Without the greenhouse effect, Earth would lose a lot of heat from the sun and be cold with an average temperature of 0 degrees Fahrenheit (-18 degrees). Celsius) (Nova 1). The greenhouse effect is like a blanket because when solar radiation reaches the earth's surface, it is reflected back into space; however, certain greenhouse gases absorb and reflect this radiation back to earth (Figure 1). Thus, some heat is retained in the atmosphere (CEOSR 1). This is why the earth is constantly warming. //However, the climate is changing because of human activities, which have significantly increased greenhouse gases. We call this change global warming. Global warming is a phenomenon in which the Earth's temperature rises due to an increase in carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases. When we burn fossil fuels like coal, gasoline, diesel and oil, it produces carbon dioxide. Due to human activity, greenhouse gases and water vapor have increased in the atmosphere since the start of the industrial revolution...... middle of paper ......reduce bill of 80 to 90%. This will also reduce carbon dioxide. If people save energy, power plants will use less fossil fuels to produce electricity, which will then reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Third, we will be able to use non-fossil fuels. For example, there is solar energy. Solar energy does not emit carbon dioxide into the air, so we can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Additionally, solar energy is safer than any other energy like nuclear energy. Finally, planting trees will help humanity. When a forest grows, it absorbs carbon dioxide. This process is called a carbon sink. The carbon sink effect of forests and agricultural land can reduce carbon dioxide by half. Conclusion People need to understand why global warming is dangerous. Global warming starts by itself; people are involved in this problem, so they must have a sense of responsibility.
