If they see a strong parent working hard to succeed, they will probably be the same way. If they see a parent giving up a lot of things in their life or quitting a lot of jobs, it's very likely the child will do the same. “The results of a study, which looked at children born to ever-single mothers and not those who are single following divorce, suggest that the key for many children “is growing up in a stable home, where They don’t go through divorce.” or other changes in the family, whether in a single-parent home or a married home” (Pollet 2). Teenagers can become rebellious even if they are raised by good parents. Situations like this happen sometimes and we are humans, we make mistakes, children make mistakes. It seems to me that in this generation there are more children dropping out of school than I have ever seen before. Most of the children I have met who have dropped out live at home with their married parents. This even surprised me, because I don't have two people in my life telling me not to drop out of school. I don't have two people who support my life decisions.
