Natural disasters have existed since the dawn of time, having a massive impact on Georgia's weather. This exerts both a positive and negative influence on Georgia's climate, making it as unpredictable as an unsupervised baby. The usual average temperature in Georgia is around 63 degrees Fahrenheit per day during the summer. It then drops to only about 47 degrees for most of the winter. Even though Georgia has a semi-tropical climate, it experiences extreme droughts which also occur at random times. This problem is due to global warming caused by an immense amount of human pollution. Georgia's climate is dominated by hail, thunderstorms, droughts, as well as tornadoes or tropical storms. The weather in this state constantly changes daily, going from rainy to sometimes suddenly sunny. Human pollution is a major factor, with our ignorance causing global warming allowing ice caps to melt and oceans to rise. This will allow hurricanes and tropical storms to strike harder and faster, hitting Georgia's coasts. Georgia's geographic location makes it vulnerable to attacks from tropical storms and hurricanes originating from both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. As a result, the majority of Georgians live near the heart of Georgia, in its capital: Atlanta. This makes them safer from tropical storms or hurricanes near its coasts. Even today, many people enjoy living in the soil-rich lands of Georgia because of its thriving summer climate and not-too-harsh winters. It is probably the only state in the United States that allows its residents to fully enjoy all four seasons throughout the year. For this reason, Georgia's population is increasing... middle of paper ......f Georgia. The people of the state of Georgia are learning to relate to its environment, with agriculture becoming Georgia's primary and most important industry. Georgia's climate also helps it grow things that other places can't, helping the United States trade. People from northern states move to Georgia to get a feel of its average, warm climate. This makes Georgia's economy bigger with a larger population because they will have to provide more materials for the new growing Georgia. A phenomenon called prevailing westerly winds is another natural effect that changes Georgia's climate. Prevailing westerly winds are one of five major wind zones or belts that alter the regular circulatory system of our atmosphere. These strong winds blow most of the time over the southeastern United States, causing intense gusts in some areas like
