Essay / Essay on the Consequences of Bullying - 1388
Some are small; some last a long time. Each party involved in a bullying situation faces different ramifications. A person who is bullied may suffer from low self-esteem, substance and alcohol abuse, depression, psychological difficulties and, in extreme cases, may commit suicide. The outcome for the bullies is not good either. They can be suspended from school sports teams, suspended from school, and end up in legal trouble. They may also become violent towards future partners/spouses, parents, friends and children. People who observe others being bullied are also affected. They tend to feel helpless, fearful, guilty for not trying to help, distrustful of teachers and other authority figures who have done nothing to try to stop the phenomenon..
