Violent behaviors have been found to be equally manifested in men and women (Wray, Hoyt, and Gerstle, 2013). Research shows that the reasons why men and women become perpetrators of violence are similar (Wray et al., 2013). It has been stated that if a counselor wishes to reduce recidivism, they should focus on dyadic intervention (Wray et al., 2013). The psychoeducational group can help members learn the signs of aggression they are exhibiting and the things that can be done to correct these signs.
