People are becoming highly civilized under the influence of philosophy. First, learning knowledge is necessary work. As people become more educated, civilization will rise. For example, in the past, people didn't know what was in the sky. Then they imagined that there were gods or that God lived there. It was a way for people to try to give explanations to the mysteries they saw. After Hans Lippershey, a Dutch eyeglass maker, invented the telescope, scientists used it to discover the sky and proved that there were no gods in the sky but a vast, black space with bright stars above the sky. People are smarter than in the past. Second, people's freedom of mind is an important thing. Painters began to improve the realism of their works.
