    Jane Austen was a widely read English novelist, whose works include many romantic novels such as "Pride and Prejudice" or "Emma", have earned him a place as one of the best-known writers in English literature. (The Biography of Jane Austen) Jane Austen was known for personifying the female characters in her books as headstrong and stubborn, facing all kinds of different circumstances and backgrounds, but wanting only one thing, true love. (Biography of Jane Austen, page 2) Additionally, her realistic thoughts and aggressive comments on socialism have given her historical importance among many people even today. (The Biography of Jane Austen.) Jane Austen, one of seven siblings, came into the world on December 16, 1775, in Steventon, England, to her parents, the Reverend George and Cassandra Austen. (Biography of Jane Austen Page 1) As Jane grew up, she was sent to boarding school for a time, but was later homeschooled by her father due to illness. She later returned to boarding school. Jane grew up in an environment that emphasized learning and creative thinking. She was encouraged to read in her father's large library. (Jane Austen) Jane was inspired by the world of stories and began writing in notebooks. In the 1790s, as she reached adulthood, she began creating her own novels and writing one of her first books, "Love and Friendship," which depicted her poking fun at a series of love letters. Using this writing structure, she revealed her humor and hatred of romantic frenzy, a unique viewpoint that would come to describe much of her later writing. She wrote her novels and works anonymously, not wanting people to know who wrote her masterpieces. After her death, I am glad that her brother, Henry, revealed that it was Jane who wrote these amazing works after her death. She deserves tons of recognition. Her stories opened my eyes to the fact that it doesn't always end happily ever after, it could end with a strong woman achieving a lot without true love..
