    Robert Browning created great works in the 18th century. His poems had dramatic verses and a dramatic style. Browning took off very slowly, but when he did he became very noticed in English society and his hard work eventually took off and was noticed as well. Browning symbolizes dramatic monologue as for example, in his poem “My Last Duchess” he drew conclusions through his character's actions. Browning was influenced by many other poets and events that occurred in the 18th century. To begin with, my author's name is Robert Browning and he was born on May 7, 1812 in Camberwell, England. Browning is a middle class suburb of London, he was his parents' first born and the only boy he had a sister named Sarianna Browning. His mother was a good Christian and pianist while his father worked as a clerk in a bank. His father was also an artist, scholar and book collector. Most of Browning's education came from his father because he was very intelligent when Browning was 5 years old he was already proficient in reading and writing. Browning was greatly influenced by the poetry of Percy Shelley and on his 13th birthday he wanted the rest of his works. Browning was very intelligent; he knew French, Greek and Latin by the age of fourteen. Browning was homeschooled between the ages of 14 and 16 by many different teachers for music, writing, and horse riding. He wrote poems between the ages of thirteen and twenty. Browning wrote a volume of Byronic verse entitled “Incondita”. Browning attended the University of London in 1828 but left halfway through his term. He met and fell in love with an author named Elizabeth Barrett in 1845 and they married in 1846. I believe he is a symbolic author and a master at writing dramatic monologues. In conclusion, Browning is a modest author and he was one of the most important poets of the Victorian period. Browning lived a good life and his poems live on as well. I believe Browning's work was simply misunderstood at the time and his most important poem would be "The Ring and the Book". It is not often looked at today, but the poem brought him much success before his death. The descriptions that Browning gave in his poems brought his readers closer to the characters that Browning made them relate in some form through his unique techniques in his dramatic monologue..
