    You are driving your car when suddenly your stomach rumbles. You are hungry. Do you decide to go get fast food or go home and take the time to prepare a meal? Let's say we don't have time to create our own meal. When you arrive at your restaurant of choice, do you park in the parking spot closest to the door or just use the drive-thru? What do you choose to eat? Is it something processed and frozen or do you choose something fresh? After eating, you decide to go to the mall. You pass advertisements of smiling, slim, happy models. You need to go to the second floor. Do you take the elevator, escalator or stairs? These are choices that we face every day and which can have an impact on our lives today, tomorrow and even further into our future. The children follow our examples. If we are faced with these choices on a daily basis, so are they. How can we make our lifestyle healthier, not only for ourselves, but also for future generations? A healthier lifestyle is established through balanced priorities, good mental health and good role models. Lifelong priorities, whether financial, educational, or physical, help create a longer, more balanced lifestyle.
