Three Day Diet Analysis Nutrition is necessary for everyone. It is the process of providing or obtaining the nourishment necessary for health and growth. The United States Department of Agriculture created ChooseMyPlate.gov to help individuals choose their food wisely. Unfortunately, many people still don't know how to choose a balanced diet and I am guilty of this. Healthy eating isn't about strictly limiting what we eat, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving ourselves of the foods we love. Rather, it's about feeling good, having more energy, improving our outlook and stabilizing our mood (healthy eating). Maintaining a healthy diet and weight can help prevent and avoid certain major or minor health problems. Certain pre-prepared foods can help me watch what I eat, especially when it comes to home-cooked meals rather than take-out foods that may have lots of preservatives added. I can also simplify my diet by not thinking too much about counting calories but basing it on color, freshness or variety. I can do this by avoiding foods that I know are packaged and processed. I will also start reading food labels. It is important for every individual to be aware of what is contained in the foods we eat. Often, manufacturers hide ingredients high in sugar or other added preservatives that are not healthy. These "bad" ingredients can also be found on foods that may be labeled as "healthy", which is why it is very important to be aware of these secret ingredients on labels. Drinking plenty of water can help flush toxins from the body and prevent dehydration. It can also help a person stay full, especially when drinking water early in the morning. Eating breakfast in the morning is a good way to start the day as it gives the individual the energy to start the day. It is important to eat in moderation. Small, frequent meals can help maintain a balanced diet instead of indulging in three large meals. The key to eating healthy and maintaining the ideal weight is to stay motivated and keep it simple. Eating in the evening should be avoided. Some people I know try to avoid eating after 6 p.m. Studies suggest that eating only when you are most active and giving your digestive system a long break each day can help regulate your weight (healthy eating). One thing I love to do is make smoothies. It's also a good way to get the necessary servings of fruits and vegetables in a smoothie drink. I also add some chia seeds which makes it
