Statement Mission Statement Apple's mission statement is: Apple sparked the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and reinvented the personal computer in the 1980s with the Macintosh. Today, Apple continues to lead the industry in innovation with its award-winning computers, OS X operating system, and iLife and professional applications. Apple is also leading the digital media revolution with its iPod portable music and video players and iTunes online store, and has entered the mobile phone market with its revolutionary iPhone. Apple ProductsTo understand the different iPod products, it is necessary to review all Apple products and how they are related and integrated with each other. Apple's product line is largely integrated into its mission statement. They offer a wide range of computers, both desktop and laptop, under the Mac brand. Their desktop computer, iMac, revolutionized the industry by integrating the tower into the monitor to minimize space.
