Although forty-seven U.S. states have passed anti-bullying laws, many Americans agree that these laws have not made a significant contribution to solving the problem. In an effort to come up with effective solutions to end bullying in schools, many people are pointing fingers. Some people rightly argue that students who are bullied at school are denied the right to equal protection under the Fourteenth Amendment. Others make a compelling argument that teachers and administrators are not taking strong enough action to stop bullying. However, while a community effort is essential to the solution, preventing bullying is largely the responsibility of parents. Teachers, school administrators, students and especially parents need to be informed about bullying and how they should respond appropriately to this behavior. Bullying has become a major problem in schools, especially among teenagers. In 2011, Dovoe and Murphy reported that in the 2008-2009 school year, 7,066,000 students ages 8 to 18 reported being bullied at school. This represents an alarming 28 percent of the 25,217,000 students surveyed in this survey. In recent years, the main television channels have devoted a significant part of their airtime to broadcasting documentaries on school bullying. Although most agree that this issue deserves attention, there appears to be a sensationalist conspiracy on the part of the media. The majority of reports highlight the problem repeatedly without any valid consensus. In reports, some critics blame the development of violent films and video games. However, violent video games and films cannot be bought; parents and family members buy them. Viewers will benefit from documentaries which is in the middle of paper...... ok he will threaten others in this way also at school. Likewise, if he is belittled and mistreated at home, he will do the same to others at school. The cycle of behaviors begins at home and is an important factor in preventing bullying at school. Children rely on their parents to teach them by example how to live and how to react to situations.
