    War and disease are everywhere in this world. But is peace possible? In this world of starving children, mutinies, betrayals, crisis and national debt. In a world so corrupt and hateful that people are being murdered in the streets and the elderly have all but lost hope for the next generation. But is it the world itself that is corrupt and cruel? Or is it the many governments that try to govern it. Governments that limit citizens' rights and allow rapists and terrorists to roam the streets were distrustful citizens. The job belongs to the police, the security services. In other words, it is up to the government to change government. Is it so impossible for governments to see their problems? If so, who is there to change world leaders for the better? What should happen to governments that have gotten out of control? Governments must reform, or rather, security sector reform must take place. To achieve this type of reform, more than one thing needs to happen, but at least five different things, namely: (1) knowing how best to reform the security sector in transgressing societies, (2) one must look at sector reform in other countries that are recent and try to find the best way to reform their own security sector, (3) one must be prepared to accept the impact of successful reform on lasting peace and how the absence of such reform a reform on political change and undying peace, (4) people need to discuss whether a successful transformation of security in post-war societies will be different of carrying out reforms in nations in political transgression, (5) it is necessary to identify the challenges that such reform would present and the conditions that would allow the reform to be executed successfully...... middle of document. .....nnings."
