There is the world that also needs to be changed. There are still some places that are not as advanced as others. The ancient methods once used by advanced places are still intact in other regions. We find these methods wrong, but there is an acceptance of the old ways where the new ones are not taught. With multitudes of people coming and going from the United States, it is difficult to monitor or change how they are brought in with others. It never hurts to try. Little by little, we can help others realize that their ways of thinking are not appropriate. Literature, films and social media could provide a pathway into society. I find that when reading literature from different countries, the amount of literature on people with disabilities is low, even for the United States. However, it seems that the most important changes have been written on paper and distributed. My only worry is that after we erase society's outdated views, what will come to replace them. I believe Rocky and his mother were both equally frustrated with his disability. In a sense, it wasn't really about frustration with the disability, but with others refusing to see the person themselves. Every day, Rocky had to deal with people who were unable to accept his appearance and was sometimes bullied because of it.
