  • Essay / Reflection on Sex at School - 1763

I never considered pregnancy a bad thing that ended life. Instead, I saw it as something special that could definitely change your life, but it was something beautiful that not every woman could have. I saw the struggles my friends experienced throughout their pregnancies and after giving birth. Many of my friends couldn't go out because they had to take care of their babies. They couldn't afford new clothes because they either had to buy baby food or buy baby diapers or other necessities they needed. At that point in my life, I decided that while it was a beautiful thing, I was not mature or ready to experience such a big change in my life. I realized that being a teenage mother was hard work that required a lot of sacrifices that I wasn't sure I could make at this point in my life.
