    The Athenian period consisted of believing that philosophers had ideas about the creations of the highest reality. Plato is an idealist philosopher. He believes that the soul pre-exists before the body or life. The highest reality in Plato's mind is the soul. His way of thinking was that of celestial ideas which he explains as the Meth of Er. The term Meth d'Er. means, The soul to be there before the body. Overall, the soul is there before the body. Man is a soul whose soul becomes the body. What makes the soul not evil in a person's body is the body imprisoning the soul to suffer or be killed because of the sins the body has suffered. The soul of humans suffers due to the soul being subjected to hell and other sinful things. In Plato's theory, our life begins with our soul before the structure of our body and mind. Our mind is tabua rasa. Tabua Rasa explains that once our soul has come, the mind of a human being is empty or void of any sinful actions. It is not our soul that tells us to do this, it is our body that does the actions and the mind that responds to the actions later. According to God we are made of sins, but according to Plato how can we be anything before if our soul is empty. He has a good point
