    In my family, we are of African-American and Indian descent on my mother's side. On my father's side we are of African American, Caucasian, Indian, Puerto Rican, German and Portuguese descent, as far as I know, because not everyone knows all the facts and probably won't know all of them. On my mother's side, who is the one I spent the most time with, I consider us a typical family. In the area where we live, there are a lot of single-parent households. My mother reached the twelfth grade of her education and is now taking GED classes to finish her education, my older sister finished high school and went to a trade school and now has a job in the dental field, my brother eldest has completed high school. but he did not continue his studies further and has a job which he has held for a long time now.
