With the inventions of technology, humans are becoming more and more dependent on it for their daily lives. Things like iPhone and BlackBerry cell phones make it possible to perform activities that previously could only be done on a computer. Things like accessing email and surfing the Internet have become the norm, and texting has replaced everyday conversation. Although newer technology is used and considered a convenience and luxury, sometimes technology can also be a hindrance. Technological advancements have given the human race the ability and excuse to be lazy. Things like going outside to converse with people are now a thing of the past. Playing games that aren't shown on TV is obsolete. As technology improves, the health of the population as a whole deteriorates. People have become far too dependent on technology. We take too many things for granted. Obesity worldwide is on the rise and technology is certainly partly to blame.
