Essay / Steve Jobs Research Paper - 1478
In the same way, Apple, which stood on top against all other high-tech companies, fell hard to Earth. While Apple was making its dream computers, Bill Gates and his team at IBM were constantly facing challenges and building high-tech computers with more functions and facilities in their computers than in Apple's PCs. The two big names, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, had the same dream but different ways of achieving it. Steve Job had neglected other functions like the database by focusing more on the graphical interface. The Lisa was introduced in 1983, which became a big failure compared to the much cheaper IBM PCs with MS_DOS, floppy drive, database and more. In 1985, Apple Inc board members removed Steve Jobs from all positions, blaming him for his inability to bridge the gap between Apple and IBM/Microsoft. Steve Jobs resigned from Apple. Subsequently, Apple's shares fell and the company lost millions of dollars. IBM, on the other hand, became more and more successful day after day while Apple languished from failure to failure. When the board's decision to remove Jobs didn't work out well, they brought him back. Figure [1].
